La Crosse protestors say Ron Johnson targeted on journey bills, not constituents

LA CROSSE (WKBT)- Protestors in La Crosse say Senator Ron Johnson is billing taxpayers for journeys to and from his Florida trip house.

The protestors- wearing seaside apparel– gathered at Riverside Park Friday morning to protest.

Federal experiences say between 2013 and 2021 Johnson was reimbursed with taxpayer cash for 19 flights between his Florida trip house to Washington, DC

Based on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, these journeys price someplace between $5,000 and $18,000.

Protest organizers mentioned Senator Johnson is specializing in his journey bills as an alternative of his constituents.
